St. Andrew's-Sewanee School will host its fourth Tennessee Interscholastic Cycling League championship on Sunday, October 29. The races, which begin at 10 a.m. with the Varsity and JV Girls, will continue throughout the day. The final race begins just after 1 p.m. There are ten races in all for riders from grade 6-12. The awards ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM. Spectators are welcome. There is no admission fee.
Since its 2013 inaugural season, the league has grown to 19 teams, 338 riders and 131 coaches. The league has a 4-race Fall season concluding with the State Championships on St. Andrew's-Sewanee School's extensive trails. The championships SAS require 92 volunteers. They are filled by parents, students, and interested friends of the league.
Some campus roads will be inaccessible during the races.
