Poet, teacher, and performance artist Patricia Smith read her poetry and talked with students and faculty at SAS yesterday. Smith is the author of critically acclaimed books of poetry, recipient of this year's Aiken Taylor Award for Modern American Poetry and many other of poetry's top awards.
Ms. Smith's talk along with an introduction by SAS senior Alex King can be heard at WMTN, SASradio.org. Ms. Smith is reading at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in All Saints' Chapel. A reception follows.
