Senior swimmer Zolon Knoll recently committed to swim for Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
Zolon is a day student from Sewanee and a 7-year member of the SAS Swim Team. He holds the SAS team record in the 100 yd Individual Medley and is a member of the 2020 record-setting 200 yd Freestyle Relay, 200 yd Medley Relay, and 400 yd Freestyle Relay teams. During his time as a SAS swimmer, Zolon has consistently qualified for the State Swim Meet in Freestyle, Butterfly, Individual Medley, and Backstroke events, finishing the 2020 season with two top 25 finishes at States in the 100 yd Butterfly (20th) and 100 yd Freestyle (24th). Zolon is also an honors student, a Student Representative to the Curriculum Committee, and a Senior Proctor.
