Surrounded by friends, family, coaches, and mentors, wrestler Mel Val signs to wrestle with Cedar Crest College.

Signing is a big deal for everyone, but, between Mel's two state championships and her 100+ career wins, we think this is an especially big deal for Cedar Crest.

We have no doubt she will continue to train hard and wrestle harder at the collegiate level, and they are incredibly lucky to have her as an athlete, a student, and a community member.

We are so proud of Mel, and we can't wait to see what she accomplishes at Cedar Crest.

We usually sign off these posts with a "Let's go Mountain Lions!" but this time we'll mix it up and say, "Let's go Cedar Crest Falcons!"
