Rachel Malde shows photography students stereoptiscope and stereographic prints

Art and photography teacher Rachel Malde begins study of the landscape with its historical roots: photographers, cameras, and technology for sharing. Here, Ms. Malde shows students the stereoscope, stereographic prints, and shows slides of the early masters. Before going out to work on their own landscape project, students will know the work of current photographers studying, experimenting, and publishing work in the art of landscape photography.

Students will use digital cameras to capture images and Adobe software to edit/post process. They’ll put together a portfolio of 15-20 landscape images.
