Students Excel on National Latin Exam

Five SAS Students Recognized for National Latin Exam Achievement

St. Andrew's-Sewanee students joined students from across the country in taking the 2022 National Latin Exam. Five students from St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School earned commendatory awards. Juniors Victor Eichler (Sewanee, TN) and Reis Klarer (Huntsville, AL) and eighth-grader Ally Syler (Monteagle, TN) earned Cum Laude distinction. Seventh-grader Miren Colbert (Sewanee, TN) achieved Magna Cum Laude status. Eighth-grader Annika Stefanut (Sewanee, TN) was named a Silver Medalist Maxima Cum Laude. The students are taught by SAS Latin teacher, Dr. William Seavey.
