Athletics at St. Andrew's-Sewanee are an integral part of the total school curriculum. It is one of the means by which students build character, exercise leadership skills and learn the value of discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship. SAS alumni take these skills and their athletic prowess to the next level -- intercollegiate athletics.

Celebrating Fall Varsity Athletes

St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School celebrated the fall varsity athletic season in a virtual all-school assembly on Thursday, November 5

Varsity Girls' Soccer Finishes 2-1-1

St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School’s girls' varsity soccer team had a very condensed season due to strict COVID-19 protocols put in place by the school to protect the SAS community. The team finished 2-1-1. 

SAS Celebrates Soccer Seniors

Before their final game of the season, in front of an enthusiastic masked and physically distanced crowd, St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School celebrated their senior players.

Five Wrestlers Named High School All-Americans

Five St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School wrestlers - Charlie Barron (Chattanooga, TN), Riley Burnette (Monteagle, TN), Iliana Pate (Sewanee), Verena Pate (Sewanee), and Jiaying Yang (Dalian, China) - have been named Scholar All-Americans for demonstrated excellence in the classroom.
