Date: Sunday - September 16, 2018
Time: 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: Depart from Owen Student Union

History Club will be taking students to view the Ed Johnson Project (a short documentary about the lynching of an African-American man in Chattanooga in 1906) on Sunday, September 16. After the documentary, we will have an off-campus dinner and conversation. A bus will leave the student union at 3:45 PM and return before Compline, or you can meet us at Gailor Auditorium on the campus of the University of the South at 4:00 PM. If you are interested in learning more about this historic case of the first African American awarded a stay of execution by the Supreme Court yet victimized by mob violence, please contact Mr. Smith.
