For close to 150 years, St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and its predecessors have worked with parents to provide their children with the best possible education and social setting. We have helped to educate thousands of children and have helped guide many parents through their child's adolescence. What all our experience tells us is that each child, each parent, each family, and each situation is unique.
Frequent communication among parents, advisors, and teachers, including several sets of written comments and several advisor calls annually, helps everyone to better understand the social and intellectual needs and development of each child. We also encourage parents to develop supportive relationships and new friendships with fellow parents. School events and volunteer opportunities help to provide opportunities to reach out to your fellow travelers on the sometimes bumpy, but always fascinating, voyage of parenthood.
St. Andrew's-Sewanee School understands that parents want to be partners in their children's education. Whether your child is a boarding student or day student, the school encourages frequent communication between teachers and parents and students and parents.
