Mendlewski has served in teaching and administrative roles at several independent day and boarding schools including 11years at the Gow School in South Wales, New York where he provided leadership as a language teacher, director of campus life, director of summer programs, and marketing/admissions associate. He most recently was the Director of Curriculum at the Quaker School in Horsham, Penn.
He holds a BA in psychology from Buffalo State College and an MS in education from Medaille College. He has also completed ISM's Leading the Small School Workshop and the NAIS program for Aspiring Heads.

"He brings experience in boarding and day school admission, a deep appreciation for the advantages of the smaller school, and an enthusiasm for St. Andrew's-Sewanee School's mission."
St. Andrew's-Sewanee School is a college preparatory day and boarding school serving 250 students in grades 6-12 and is located on a 550-acre campus adjacent to the University of the South.
