St. Andrew's-Sewanee School is committed to making our superb college preparatory program available to deserving students. We annually award roughly $2.1 million in financial aid. In 2024-2025, 47% of our student body received a financial aid grant. Listed below are several options that families can use to help manage the cost of tuition.

Boarding tuition includes a double occupancy room and three meals/day. Boarding students have a team of faculty members responsible for their care and supervision, including faculty oversight during evening study hours. Boarding students have access to on-site nursing care, a residential chaplain, and coordination of mental health care needs. Boarding students also have the opportunity to participate in numerous weekend activities both on- and off-campus.

Day tuition includes lunch each day. Upper School day students may participate in weekend activities on- and off-campus. A non-refundable tuition deposit varies based on family contribution and will be indicated on the contract. This deposit is applied to your Tuition Account.

Additional Required Fees

  • 7 Day Boarding Student Activity Fee -  $1600
  • 5 Day Boarding Student Activity Fee -  $600
  • Day Student Activity Fee for grades 9-12 - $400
  • 8th Grade Trip Fee - $1000

Any unused portion of the student activity fee is refunded to the student's account at the conclusion of the academic year.

Additional Optional Fees

  • ELL Program Fee - $4300
  • 5 Day Boarding Transportation Fee - $2500
  • International Student Medical Insurance - $2500 (International students who don't have medical coverage for the US will be required to purchase the above-mentioned medical insurance).
