Celebrating With Our Seniors
When a student commits to a college, we celebrate that decision by recording their school on the class banner in the College Counseling Office, and our College Counselor makes an announcement in Chapel. On College Decision Day, members of the senior class sport their college logos for an all-class photo.
Counseling for parents, too
Each year SAS hosts a college counseling workshop for parents in January/February. The workshop includes sessions with the Director of College Counseling and college admission professionals and is designed to preview the upcoming college application process.
Beginning in winter of their junior year, our Director of College Counseling meets with juniors in groups and individually. His office door is always open for those who want to get a jump start on the process!

In a typical year, representatives from 50 colleges and universities visit SAS, a clear testament to the reputation of our graduates in the college world.
SCOIR
St Andrew's-Sewanee School uses Scoir (pronounced "score"), a college guidance management system. Scoir streamlines the process of requesting, processing, sending, and tracking the electronic delivery of all application-related documents.
Students and parents find Scoir useful in the college search and selection process with colleges coming to life through pictures, videos, and links. Scoir also provides parents with financial calculators to determine the likely cost of attendance at different colleges. These features, along with more convenient scheduling and communication tools, will help keep everyone informed and engaged throughout the college application process.
Transcript Request
St. Andrew's-Sewanee School now partners with Parchment for secure, online transcript requests. This service is available for alumni from the class of 2009 forward. If you graduated prior to 2009, please complete the SAS Transcript Request form.
